Formed in 2007 as Demonocracy the first songs were more alternative rock than metal.
After severel changes of band members
the sound became harder and more progressive.
In 2011 the name was changed into Acid Lake.
By now Acid Lake play their own kind of heavy metal with influences of hardcore, doom, sludge, post-rock and many more.

You should buy this album just for the Lone wolf patriot version alone. It's just that good. It's...everything and then some. It'd doomy, it's jazzy, it's poppy, it's rocky and damned me if it's not even a wee bit stonery. All I know is it's a whole lotta' good.
