Formed in 2007 as Demonocracy the first songs were more alternative rock than metal.
After severel changes of band members the sound became harder and more progressive.
In 2011 the name was changed into Acid Lake.
By now Acid Lake play their own kind of heavy metal with influences of hardcore, doom, sludge, post-rock and many more.
